Simple and easily identifiable, each squiggle embodies the soul of the Art Blocks platform. Consider each my personal signature as an artist, developer, and tinkerer. Public minting of the Chromie Squiggle is permanently paused. They are now reserved for manual distribution to collectors and community members over a longer period of time.
Full Spectrum Squiggles: The number of hues displayed must come within 1% of perfect. There are only 2 combos of color spread, segments, and steps between segments that will create a full spectrum, making it roughly twice as common as perfect spectrum but still VERY rare in the squiggle universe. -VM
Perfect Spectrum Squiggles Only a single combination of color spread, segments, and steps between segments will result in a perfect out come. -VM
You can calculate how many color hues are displayed on each and every squiggle. This is done by multiplying the 'steps between segments' by 'number of segments' divided by 'color spread'. Or simply ('steps between segments'*'number of segments')/'color spread'. For example lets take squiggle #4008 which is a perfect spectrum. We see it has a 'steps between segements' of 200, 'number of segments' of 14, and 'color spread' of 11. 2000 * 14 gives us 2800. We then divide this by 11. Giving the result of 254.54 which rounds to 255. This is EXACTLY the number of color hues required to show all 256. The starting color is the first hue, followed by 255 resulting in a perfect spectrum. - VonMises
