¶ Description
Sol LeWitt's Wall Drawing #118 instructs executors to connect randomly-placed points with straight lines, on a continuous surface of wall. This project imagines that artwork executed on complex walls.
The artwork is an extension of an art project by artist Mitchell F. Chan, first exhibited in 2014. It continues a discussion on how technology changes our relationship to information, generative artworks, and value. As a part of the work, the artist wrote an essay that discusses the relationship between Sol LeWitt, blockchain, and NFTs.
